Poles
This shot was taken wile I was waiting for a coworker to meet up with me. I was pulled off to the side of the road and was captivated by how blue the sky was and how awesome the clouds were. The problem was finding something interesting to shoot. There was a few cows in a field but all I had on my camera was my 18-35mm lens.
I took a few shots of the horizon trying to get a feel for my environment. Most of the time I find that if I burn a few shots just warming up my legs and getting the glue off my fingers I can start getting the "creative Juices" flowing.
So thats pretty much how I got this shot of "poles".
Perspective wise I tend to shoot a lot of my wide angles from way down low or as far away from the 5'8" look as possible.
The next thing I look for are "leading lines" to help pull an image together and to give a sense of scale to a wide shot. Thats what I was hoping to get with the power lines.
And obviously this is another endever in HDR for me.
